Cold Feet

How's everyone? Hope you're all feeling well!

If you're wondering why I haven't updated been updating (and I actually think this reason's acceptable) is because I'm joining a competition. Yes. I am actually joining a competition. It's design and programming kind of competition, and I always wanted to learn and work more with coding and programming. And I might not be able to post more often, since I need to study on codings once more (I used to know a little about coding, but that was like five or more years ago).

I've been having rough nights lately. And I've been extremely tired. This morning, I was putting on some sunblock (since I don't want to get a tan) when my mum went up to me and asked what happened. I just looked confused and she made me remove my glasses, telling me that I have some dark sides on my face. Apparently, they were dark circles. I swear, they're almost past my cheekbones. Let this be a lesson for all of you to try and get as much rest as you can.

Now to end this post. Here's All Star by Smash Mouth to get you up and going. Like I said, I've been busy, so I haven't really been able to read new books. But I suggest Inferno by Dan Brown, since it's considered as a classic(?). So, yeah. That's all for now. I'm going to take a shower now. Take care, be well, and please don't play Flappy Bird (it's for your sanity, please). Cheers!

Woah

Two posts in one week? I told you guys I'll update more often! And here I am, on a Saturday afternoon, updating my blog. This needs to be an achievement. How have you all been? Good, I hope.

So lately I've been playing Pokemon again (SoulSilver to be exact). And I honestly still enjoy the game, even if there's not much to do but catch all the Pokemon and train them. I was playing it this morning actually. Just casually having fun when all of a sudden, my game crashed (I use an emulator, because I have no money for a DS, okay). Since the game often crashes, I just brushed it off and decided to restart the game (what I always do whenever my game crashes). When I restarted it, the game indicated that the file I was playing got either corrupted and deleted, and it restarted the whole game. Like wow. I almost collected all of the Pokemon, then it restarts? Please tell me it's normal to get upset over this.

I kind of regret complaining about the game at times now. You see, I have this Clefable and Wigglytuff in the daycare, since I wanted an Igglybuff and Cleffa before. After getting both of them (through the Safari Zone), I got an egg. At first I was just 'Wow, okay, might as well'. It wasn't even half an hour yet when there was another egg. And yeah, I got that one too. It was all fine and stuff until I got like five eggs just from those Pokemon. I mean, come on.

Anyways, I started playing Platinum, and I kind of forgot the events that happened (I haven't played Diamond/Pearl and Platinum for a while), so I'm hoping it'll keep me busy until I can try to get my SoulSilver game back.

Alright, enough of the Pokemon talk. Let me talk to you about school. More specifically, the fact that there are a lot of people who started talking about Valentine's Day. I'm no hater and all, but why do people wait once a year in order to show someone they care, platonically or not? I know this is practically the same excuse I use in every holiday, but I'm just so confused. And honestly, (hopefully I can say this without offending anybody. and if i'm do, i'm sorry), there are some people who take it a little too far. Like they expect someone to do some 'grand, romantic gesture' for them. I mean, okay, I may or may not be a sucker for those, but come on. Why would you expect when you could just do that for someone? When you're expecting, you might just get disappointed. So why not just make someone else happy?

And, okay. I'll just stop myself right there. Yeah, this post isn't really 'interesting' and all. But hey, I'll think of something. For today, here's Harlem by New Politics and I'm reading a few books at the same time,  but here's The Catcher in the Rye by Jerome David Salinger, since I've been planning on reading that one for quite some time. That's all for now. Bye!

Messed Up

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My laptop decided to be mean and won't connect to the Internet (it would connect to the Internet at school, but it would be so slow at home). I'm currently on my dad's laptop, so I might not be posting for a while.

Another reason why I haven't been posting was because I started school again this week. It was pretty hectic, everyone just wandering around, trying to find where most of the rooms are. And we have this particular schedule. Like if it's Phys Ed, some people need to be at school by 8, while some people need to stay after school for about an hour or so. And I got the afternoon schedule (Monday afternoons), and I'd rather take that than to go to school at 8 and 'do something active' when you get there.

I also got my favourite electives; Visual Arts, Photography and Graphics & Animation. It's honestly great, being able to do more art than usual. Although for Graphics, I want to use Illustrator (we're going to use Flash, Fireworks and Photoshop). I've done some work with Flash and Fireworks, and I've worked with Photoshop for 2 or 3 years, so yeah, I just wanted to try something different.

At school, we have about 6 or more classes that's past a giant oval, which takes about 15 minutes to get there. I'm fine with it, really I am. But the fact that my schedule makes it kind of tiring. So in those classes, I have History, English Lit and sometimes Science. And for some apparent reason, my schedule would be something like 'main building, history, recess, main building, english, science'. Come on. If I have to do this, I might as well not to do Phys Ed (if only).

I think I'll have to post more often. I honestly have a lot of stuff to tell you guys (i know you're out there. you could always comment or something you know), and I should finish up with this post.

But before that, I wanted to thank you guys. Somewhere In Neverland has reached over 1k pageviews recently! (I'm still not quite sure what makes you guys go back to this blog, but yay). And the workout playlist I made? It got more views than my usual posts. Thank you guys so much! I hope I get to continue whatever I'm doing.

Finally, to end this post, here is Young Volcanoes by Fall Out Boy, to get you all pumped up for whatever you guys will be doing. And since the trailer is out now, I would suggest The Fault in Our Stars by John Green so we could all mourn together. I also have a little story concerning The Great Gatsby, but that would have to wait until next post. Bye for now!
