Post Christmas Update, Early New Year's Update

So how's everybody? Hope you all enjoyed Christmas! Go ahead and comment below any Christmas stories to tell or whatever you really want to just say about your holidays.

I wasn't really up to updating, since there's nothing really to talk about. I've been studying and reading most of the time (going to the Internet during the rest, having a PewDiePie marathon), and it just occurred to me. 2013 is almost over. It's been a good year, but not good enough, in my case. Not much bad things happened, and yet I feel like not much happened.

Recently, I've dyed my hair. And not full-on bright dyed. Just blonde tips. Why only the tips, you ask? Well, being the lazy smart person I am, I decided it'll be better to just dye the tips, rather than having all of my hair dyed, then my roots showing up, needing to dye them back again. See? This is the extent of my laziness knowledge.

There's been some mental stress with me lately, since I've just talked to a friend, but yeah, nothing really 'new' or 'exciting'. You could count New Year's being exciting, I suppose. People say that the New Year's the time to change, but I honestly don't believe in that. Why would you change just for one day, when you could change everyday? There are some people who'll be all "I'll be more progressive this year!", then they'll just waste away and say "There's always next year.". Why not change today, instead of waiting for something to happen?

Anyways, I'll be updating during the New Year's as well. Just to, you know, greet the new year. To end this, here's Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses. Which reminds me, yesterday, my dad was browsing through my songs, and he said I actually had 'good taste' in music. That's actually the first time he complimented my taste in anything. And at the moment, I've been reading Insurgent by Veronica Roth, since I have yet to finish the trilogy. Stay amazing!

The Holidays Ladies And Gentlemen

After all this time waiting, it's finally the holidays! Everyone going out to the shopping centres, beaches and other places! (then there's me who wants to study)

The previous Monday, we went on an excursion to the zoo. It was fun, loads of pictures to take and animals that were basically sleeping that day. I was even able to have a Tarzan moment with a monkey (that part of the movie when Tarzan puts his hand against his mother's hand). It was surely memorable.

I got my report last Wednesday, and I (think) I did fairly well. I got an A on English, Science and Art. Then Bs and Cs with the rest of my classes. And there was this part where the teachers commented on the student, and all the teachers are so nice. Even if I wasn't in the school for too long, I'll really miss them. (and funny how they think i'm this 'nice' figure to them)

I'm currently studying Biology and Chemistry in preparation for next year, with the help of the books I borrowed from the library (it still amazes me how long you could borrow these books, and you could borrow a lot at the same time). And before any of you go all 'it's the holidays! why would you be studying?', I just want to say that I always have this great urge to study and actually be 'nice' at the beginning of school breaks. Give me maybe a few days or so, then I'll eventually become tired and get back to wasting my time on the Internet.

Well, that's all for this week (or day). I might update tomorrow if there's something to talk about. Until then, here's Lollipop by Mika and I have been reading More Than This by Patrick Ness. Hope you all enjoyed this update, and I'll post soon. Cheers!

Lots of Links

Hey guys. So it's finally my final week at school! After Thursday (which is my final day), I'll be able to be even more active on this blog, rather than just posting something once a week.

So recently I've been trying to keep my Twitter and Tumblr updated, and I'm actually getting less active on this blog. So if by any chance I'll suddenly stop posting, you know where to find me (then you could force me to update).

It's finally getting hot over here, and it's only December. From what I know, it'll be 41 degrees centigrade, and we'll be going on an excursion to the zoo later today. In all honesty, I don't think I'll last long here.

Almost Christmas, everybody! I enjoy Christmas, sure, but it's like some people are just being nice just because of the holidays. So yeah, I'm not really into the decorating and all. But here's Shane Dawson's This Christmas Life to get you all pumped up (if you're still not in the festive mood). Please like and subscribe to him. He's one of my absolute favourite YouTubers. Check out his other videos too!

I guess that's all I have for you. So Shane's music video is just to get you all into the Christmas spirit (or to the next Hannukah spirt. Even the Kwanzaa spirit and any other holiday you all celebrate), and here's Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey because of it actually reminding me of a book series.

But wait! The update isn't over just yet (boo). I've decided to add another detail to my posts. And that detail is telling you all what I'm currently reading! Okay, maybe not really 'exciting' and whatnot, but hey, that's me. So at the moment, I'm reading The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett, a book my friend made me read. It's going great so far, and I hope you all enjoyed this small update. Until next time!

Yet Another Friday

Hey guys! It's yet another Friday, and you all receive an update.

First things first, I would like to greet an amazing friend of mine a happy birthday. I doubt she'll be reading this (since she doesn't even know I have a blog, haha), but love, if you are reading this, happy birthday and I hope you'll enjoy today (even if you'll be at school for the whole day), and I'm sorry I couldn't come there. I'm sure I'll come back some other time though. I love you!

Okay. So I'm not sure about you guys, but this week has been too long in my opinion. There's so many deadlines to meet, and lots of unnecessary drama happening, and I just want to stay in bed. I know it may sound kind of small, but really, all I want to do is survive the last two weeks of school, so I could just go back to sleep.

Later today, I'll be with Aleyna skateboarding (or at least me attempting to skateboard), and in all honesty, I don't want to. I mean, that's what I say every time I go skateboarding, but by the end of the day, I'll be ecstatic. I'm just really tired and want to sleep. Tomorrow, I'll also be going over my other friend's house, and it's somewhat in the morning (12 noon to be exact. that's still morning for me okay), so I need to rest.

The whole week, I've going to school earlier than usual. Here's the thing; my friends and I were told that our project for Art was due next week, along with a reflection we were suppose to do. So we decided that we'll do it during lunch, since we only have a few days of Art. The teacher told us we should do it during the mornings, rather than at lunch, since she said she wouldn't be there. So we went to school earlier, did our project, and kept coming back. My friend then decided that we should try to check if there's anyone at the Art room during lunch, so we could have more time. And hey, guess what? There were a lot of people. So we were actually allowed to go there during lunch. Wow.

Another new thing? Well, I've been trying to memorise the alphabet in Australian Sign Language (they call it here AuSLang [someone correct me if i'm wrong here]). Not really new, since I've been learning it the past month or so. And I memorised it! Now I'm thinking of maybe French Sign Language (since I already know American), and maybe Irish next? I'm not sure. If I memorised the alphabet, that's good enough for now.

Wondering why I'm learning sign language in different languages? I'm not exactly sure why. I just like learning things not many people don't know about. And yeah, this might sound strange, but I like learning sing language in another language than actually learning a different language. I don't know with myself, okay. (does knowing sign language in other languages counts as multilingual?)

I guess I should stop here. I'll probably post another update during the weekend. I'm trying to be active again on my Twitter, so you guys could check that out if you want. Tweet me if you want to talk too (just, you know, tell me if you're a reader of this, so I'll know). For today, we have Wayfaring Stranger by Ed Sheeran. Bye for now!

OKAY. THIS WOULD BE MY FINAL THEME. FOR NOW. ENJOY.

December

It's the first day of December once again! And, okay, I'm not really feeling the Christmas vibe. Thank you, hot weather.

I'm thinking of changing my theme again. I'm not sure why. I think it's because it seems so... unlike me. Nothing against the theme, it just doesn't really seem to 'fit' me, as cliche as it sounds. So I'll be putting my blog under maintenance later today. Now let me tell you what's been happening the past few days.

So like I said in my previous update, we were sorted into our mentors for next year. And wow. I'm in one of those rooms where you know everyone by name, but like, just because you've been in a class together or something. But then you guys never actually talked. Yeah, well, that's my situation. The only person I talk to is Lara, my friend in Mandarin, and yeah. I don't know how I'll survive.

To make things worse, I was expecting to get my timetable by the end of that day. But, hey, guess what? I didn't! (please know that I'm being sarcastic here) And I was excited to know my schedule. Now I'm just anxious.

Last Tuesday, our school had a social. People jumping up and down, sweating, and eating. And apparently, there were a lot of people who got together, and stuff. Everyone was eventually talking about it the day after. But, hey, I slept for more than 8 hours, while people were complaining in the morning how tired they were (then again, i was still tired), so I think I enjoyed myself more that night.

Yesterday, my friend, Clair, and I went to watch Catching Fire, since Clair wanted to watch (and it was only my second time watching, so). Wasn't nice to see Mags die twice okay (spoiler alert). Everything was fine and all, but I was kind of annoyed with the children. And by children, I mean the kids that seemed to be 10 years old or so (no offence if any of you guys who are reading this). But it was absolutely annoying.

The floors of the cinema are carpeted, and underneath is wood (I think), so whenever someone walks, it would be heard and felt inside the whole place. And, hey, guess what? The children decided to jump from the top of the stairs to the bottom during the movie. They were also being loud. Sure, I was their age once, but come on.

Anyways, enough of that. It's almost the end of school! And I just want to spend my days being productive with drawing and reading (or just waste my time sleeping and going through Tumblr), so yeah, I'll be more active on this blog (I swear, I will be).

That's it for now. I'll be skateboarding with another friend of mine, and let's just hope I don't fall as much as I did the last time. Here's Infatuation by Maroon 5, somehow considered 'an old song' by some people. But I like Maroon 5 (if you haven't noticed by now). And while searching the link for the song, an ad popped up. I was about to skip, but then, woah, it was Phil. Phil Lester. AmazingPhil. I honestly did not understand what was going on, but oh well. Cheers!
